World Food Championships Set to Launch 2025 “Taste of America” Challenge Presented by Sam’s Club

INDIANAPOLIS, IN – (June 12, 2025) – The World Food Championships (WFC) is once again firing up the Food Sport community with its latest online recipe contest – the 2025 Taste of America Challenge presented by Sam’s Club. The competition will officially open at 12:01 AM CST on Tuesday, June 17 and close at 11:59 PM CST on Monday, June 30, 2025.
This nationwide digital qualifier invites chefs, home cooks, and culinary creators of all backgrounds to showcase their skills by crafting an original recipe that celebrates American culinary diversity using fresh ingredients from Sam’s Club.
To be eligible, each submission must feature:
- At least one (1) fresh fruit or vegetable purchased from Sam’s Club
- A minimum of three (3) Member’s Mark branded products
Three (3) Golden Tickets, WFC’s coveted invitation to compete in its Main Event, will be awarded to the top submissions. Each winner will receive free registration (a $1,000 value) to compete in the 2025 World Food Championships, taking place this October 16-19 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis.
“This challenge is about celebrating bold flavors, fresh ingredients, and creative storytelling through food,” said Mike McCloud, World Food Championships Founder. “Thanks to Sam’s Club, we’re giving Food Sport competitors a chance to turn their shopping inspiration into culinary glory on the world’s biggest food competition stage.”
Participants can see contest details, including official rules, and enter the challenge by visiting https://worldfoodchampionships.com/2025-taste-of-america-sams-club where they will fill out the official entry form, submit a high-quality photo of their finished dish, and upload a complete recipe featuring eligible Sam’s Club ingredients.
The Taste of America Challenge is one of WFC’s signature online contests that brings fresh faces into the Food Sport community while expanding access to culinary competition. Winning entries will be judged based on WFC’s proprietary E.A.T.™ methodology, which evaluates dishes based on Execution, Appearance, and Taste.
